was created to bring vital, excellent, humanistic art, art teaching, and art theory to public awareness.

In the 19th Century, "the academy" excluded most of the artists we now love (from Monet through Van Gogh and Cézanne). The present gallery system of distribution grew from this failure. Now much authentic exciting art remains outside the galleries.

The rebirth and continued development of visual art requires a new structure of distribution and education. Time and again artists have gotten together to support one another and bring unknown work to the public. Now the Internet can support this process.
